Independent driver: free account and invitations

What it is for

If you drive on your own, you can use KŌLOGY without a company: the free Independent driver account keeps your routes, daily reports, roll calls, vehicle and fuel. If a company invites you later, you can work for it with the same login — and your personal history stays yours.

Who uses it and where

Drivers with no company. Sign-up is on the app's sign-in screen (Create a free account) in default KŌLOGY. No card is needed. Paid plans are not sold inside the app.

Step by step: create the account

1. On the sign-in screen, tap Create a free account (“Company or independent driver — no card needed”).
2. Under How will you use it?, choose Independent driver.
3. Fill in Your name, Email (your sign-in), Phone (optional), Password and Confirm password (8–128 characters with a letter and a digit).
4. Got a code from a company? Enter it in Invitation code (optional): you join it right after the account is created.
5. Read How we use your data, tick I agree with the purpose and the privacy policy and tap Create free account.

The screen shows the free-account limits (for example: only you as driver, number of vehicles and days of history).

First steps after sign-up

1. The app opens in the management area. On the Invitations & free account card, tap Open.
2. In Add a vehicle, enter the plate Region, Class, Kana and Number (required) and, if you like, maker, model and 車検 expiry. Tap Add vehicle. The car then shows up in the vehicle choice of the daily report and roll call.
3. Tap Start as a driver. The first time, your driver profile is created on the spot. The DRIVE · your name bar appears at the top: you are now in driver mode with Home, Daily Report, map, OCR and More.
4. To go back to management, tap Back to STAFFS on that bar.

Accept a company invitation

1. The company sends an e-mail (Japanese, Portuguese and English) with the Invitation code.
2. Open Invitations & free account → Company invitations, enter the code and tap Join the company (or Decline).
3. Under Companies you work for, tap Work as a driver on the right company before you start the day.
4. To leave, use Leave the company. What you recorded for it stays with it.

Common mistakes

• “Vehicle limit of the free account reached”: the free account has a maximum number of vehicles. Use the vehicle you already added.
• The invitation code does not work: it may have expired or been cancelled. Ask the company to Resend (new code).
• The vehicle does not appear in the daily report: check that the plate region and number were filled in.
