Workflow: assemble, explode and document an assembly
New assembly → insert → mate → pattern → exploded view → BOM → assembly instruction drawing with balloons.

Step by step
- New assembly (Assembly tab or File → New). Insert Component: parts, STEPs or sub-assemblies.
- Mate: click a face/cylinder/edge on each component and choose the type (Coincident, Concentric, Parallel, Distance, Perpendicular, Angle, Limit distance/angle). ✔ adds it and lets you pick the next pair.
- Component pattern and Replace component when needed.
- Interference Detection before moving on.
- Exploded View: manual steps or Make the steps automatically; Play shows the instruction.
- 部材表 / BOM: flat or indented parts list.
- Drawing → Create a 2D drawing from this part on the assembly: views, exploded iso, parts list and Auto balloons.
Tips
- The exploded view changes neither mates nor the 部材表; it goes into the drawing and the film.
- Assembly/disassembly film: Timeline → Play → Exploded view or Assembly.
Common mistakes
- A "floating" component: mates are missing. The tree shows the degrees of freedom.
