Groups and buttons
- Orientation: Zoom to Fit (F) · Normal to (Ctrl+8) · Zoom to selection · Front (Ctrl+1) · Top (Ctrl+5) · Right (Ctrl+4) · Isometric (Ctrl+7).
- Display style: Shaded With Edges · Shaded · Hidden Lines Removed · Wireframe · Perspective · Section View.
- Visibility: Hide · Isolate · Show all (Ctrl+Shift+H).
- Window: Detach to a new window · Reset the layout · Dark theme.
Step by step: look at a hidden part
- Select the part (in the view or the tree).
- Isolate shows only it; Hide hides only it.
- Show all (Ctrl+Shift+H) returns to normal.
Tips
- Normal to needs a flat face selected.
- View menu → Large assembly mode and View → Panels (tree, PropertyManager, configurations, display, layers, library).
- Theme (light/dark/follow system), density and graphics background are in Options → Colours & theme.
Common mistakes
- "Normal to" does nothing: select a flat face (not an edge).
