Purchase and licence

Is this a cloud subscription?

No. It is a program installed on your company's Windows PCs, paid once. There is no monthly fee to keep using it; monthly support is optional.

How much does it cost?

On the official KOMORI Software page: ¥350,000 excl. tax (¥385,000 incl. tax), one-time, for 1 computer. Extensions and support are optional.

On how many computers can I use it?

The licence is per computer. For another PC, buy an additional installation or do a device change in the client portal.

Where do I download the installer?

In the client portal, Software tab. Each Download click creates a personal link valid for 30 minutes and 3 uses.

I lost my activation code.

On the activation screen, click Recover or generate a code. The client portal issues a new code for the computer.

Do I need to activate again after reinstalling?

If you reinstall over the top on the same Windows, the licence and data are kept.

If I don't buy support, does the program stop?

No. It keeps working. Support covers usage questions, bug fixes and update guidance.

Internet and data

Does it need the internet?

Only to activate, check for updates, sync extensions and download extra maps. Map, import, editing and backup work offline.

Is my delivery data sent to the internet?

No. Batches, addresses and completions stay on the computer. Activation and sync only use the device's technical ID, the licence and the version.

Where is the data stored?

In a Windows user folder, separate from the program folder. That is why updates never delete anything.

Can I use it on a phone or tablet?

No. Lite is made for Windows desktop, with a minimum window of 1024 × 768 pixels.

Is there a sign-in or password?

No. Lite opens straight on the map. User accounts (administrator, operator, driver) are a Pro feature.

Map and import

Which regions does the map cover?

Aichi is pre-installed. Other prefectures and all of Japan can be downloaded in Settings → Map (Additional offline maps extension).

Which files can I import?

The dados.bin from the previous system (INI format in Shift-JIS), area .txt files (JSON polygon), and lists pasted from the browser.

Does importing again delete my work?

No. Every import becomes a new batch; the previous one stays in the history. The original file is preserved too.

Can I import an Excel spreadsheet?

There is no direct XLSX file import. Open the spreadsheet, copy the rows and use Paste from browser: the program recognises delivery number, route, time window, address and coordinates and shows a preview before saving.

Do distances consider traffic?

No. The street route follows the map network and one-way streets, but not traffic, closures or real-time speed.

Extensions and daily use

I bought an extension and it does not show.

Open Information → Extensions and click Sync now while online.

How many drivers can I plan for?

Planning uses the letters A to Z. Custom names and sequences like AA or A1 need the Advanced driver identifiers extension.

Can I print the map for the driver?

Yes. Save image → Save as PDF produces one A4 page with the visible map, areas, routes and pins. JPG is also available.

How do I make a spreadsheet of deliveries?

On the Deliveries (or Delivery completion) screen, filter and click XLSX or CSV. Only the filtered result is exported.

Do updates close the program by themselves?

No. They download in the background with a backup and only restart when you choose Restart and update.

Where is the manual inside the program?

Settings → Guide tab, with 12 illustrated chapters in the selected language.

How is it different from KOLOGY Software Pro?

Pro has user accounts, a driver schedule, a driver portal with photo and location, a customer portal and synchronization. See “Plans and limits”.
