Locked-phone calls, messages and presence
Update the app and check permissions, notifications and automatic presence.

Update and open the app
Install the latest version from your store. In TestFlight, open the Equipe Komori invitation and update. Open KOCHAT once while signed in to renew call registration.
While locked
In Settings → Notifications, review Calls and messages while locked. Use its buttons to check full-screen calls, notifications and call/message channels. On Android, also check battery restrictions. Menu names vary by phone.
On iPhone, open Settings → Notifications → KOCHAT and allow notifications, Lock Screen and Sounds. Check Focus and preview settings. Phone privacy settings may hide message text even when a notification arrives.
Presence
Automatic: online while any client is visible, away in the background, then offline after the away window (normally 10 minutes). Another open computer or phone keeps you online. Manual Busy, Away and Invisible choices are respected.
Check
Ask a test partner to send a message and call while your phone is locked. If the permission notice remains, open the indicated setting. Never share a password or token.
