Right-click menu, markers and manual drivers

Right-clicking is the fastest shortcut on the map. The Map options menu only shows the actions that make sense for the spot you clicked, without cluttering the panel.

Where it is

On the Dispatch map, right-click the map background, a delivery pin, a temporary marker, a driver or a base.

On the map background

• Add temporary marker: a reference point (e.g. a site, a meeting point).
• Add driver manually (in Pro: register a real driver).
• Register an office, depot, or warehouse here: creates a base at exactly that coordinate.
• Draw new area: starts a local area polygon.
• Mark an area to zoom: click, drag and release to frame a region without zooming down to street level. Esc cancels.
• Copy coordinates and Clear markers and measurement.

On a delivery

• Open details and center and Edit delivery.
• Copy slip number and Copy address (handy for pasting into another system).
• Set as measurement origin and Measure distance to here (see “Distance and street route”).

Step by step: put a manual driver on the map

1. Right-click where the driver is or will start from.
2. Choose Add driver manually.
3. Fill in Name or identifier, the route, the Period (No scheduled time, AM · morning or PM · afternoon/evening), the Time and Notes.
4. Save. “Driver added to this computer's map.” appears.
5. To change it later, right-click the driver → Edit driver.

Step by step: use a temporary marker

1. Right-click the background → Add temporary marker.
2. On the Selected tab, change the Marker name, move it, or use Delete marker.
3. Markers can also be the origin or destination of a measurement.

Common mistakes

• The menu does not appear: right-click on the map, not on the panel.
• The drawn area will not close: an area needs at least 3 vertices. Click the first vertex again or press Enter.
