Do I need the Internet?
No. K-Units works on your company network or on the device alone. The Internet is only used to sign in with a KOREOS account and to check for updates.
Where is the inventory data kept?
On the device itself or on the server your company chooses. No inventory data is sent to KOMORI or to a third-party cloud.
Which devices does it run on?
Windows 10/11 (64-bit) PCs and Android tablets. A Windows PC can be the network server for tablets and other PCs.
Is there a monthly fee?
There is no monthly fee to keep using it. Monthly support is optional.
Can I start on a tablet and move to a server later?
Yes. In Settings → Data location, an administrator moves the whole inventory to a new, empty server running the same K-Units version.
Does it work with roll label printers?
No. QR labels are for A3, A4 or A5 adhesive sheets, printed through the system print window.
I forgot my password. What now?
Ask an administrator of the inventory to reset it. KOREOS accounts change their password in KOREOS.
What is kiosk mode?
On an Android tablet prepared by the technician, K-Units stays fixed on screen. Leaving it requires the exit PIN, which is separate from the sign-in. On Windows, K-Units opens as a regular program.
