Device, updates and working without internet
Device and About tabs, sync, app updates and what the TV shows when the internet drops.

Device tab
- Device name and the TV account: to identify this TV.
- Open at power-on: ON / OFF — on a TV box, makes k-TV open by itself when the device turns on. This option does not appear on Fire TV.
- Sync now — fetches the schedule and new files right away. Normally this happens automatically every 30 minutes.
- Media saved on device — shows download progress and the files already saved.
About tab and updates
- The About tab shows the Version and the What's new button.
- k-TV checks for updates by itself from time to time. To check now, choose Update app.
- When a new version is available, Install update appears. Confirm it in Android.
- The first time, Android may ask you to allow k-TV to install updates. Allow it and return to the app.
When the internet drops
- Video screens keep playing the saved files: Offline · playing saved media.
- Data screens show the latest data received: Offline · showing the latest data.
- Live notices (such as attendance) need a connection.
- k-TV reconnects by itself. When the internet is back, everything refreshes without touching anything.
