Settings: users, backups and updates
Users and roles, departments, backups, updates, language and tablet kiosk mode.

In Settings you manage your account, connection, data and administration. The options shown depend on your permissions.
Users and roles
- In Settings → Users, create the account and set role, department and administrator access.
- Roles: Requester creates and follows their own cases; Staff carry out work, request quotes and submit completion; Manager assigns, quotes, orders and approves; Administrator manages users, backups and connections.
- Users who receive an initial password change it on first access. In Signed-in devices, end sessions that are no longer used.
Backups
- Open Settings → Backups and tap “Back up now”.
- Export the file and keep it in another safe place. A copy kept only on the same device does not protect against device loss.
- Restoring replaces the current database with the backup state. Afterwards, sign in again and check cases and attachments.
Updates
- When a new version exists, a banner appears at the top of the screen.
- Tap the banner to download and follow the progress.
- Make a backup and tap “Install update”. Your data is kept. Then check the version in Settings → About.
Language and kiosk
- In Language and display, choose Japanese, Portuguese or English. Text written by users is not translated.
- On a tablet prepared as a dedicated terminal, MENT is the home screen. “Exit kiosk” asks for the maintenance password and returns to the tablet’s home screen; opening MENT or restarting returns to the kiosk. Exiting the kiosk does not sign you out.
